You can choose any weight of yarn/fibre content (just choose the appropriate hook size) and it can be made to be as big or small as you would like.
You can take it one step further and forgo a blanket and create cushion covers, table runners, wall hangings, whatever you fancy.

I create all my patterns with the ‘Join-as-you-go-Method’ but you can choose to create every square individually and join them with your preferred method.
