The striped nursery collection starts with a straightforward blanket, bunting and ball, then a hat, and progresses onto a romper. If this is your very first project all items can be knitted in one colour. As your competence and confidence grow, you can move on to the next project and try colour changing. All items are knitted using chunky (bulky) which knits up quickly.

The romper comes in sizes 0-6m, 6-12m, 12-18m. The blanket is 54 x 80cms which will be suitable for a cot.

The blanket has arm/harness holes so that you can wrap it around baby and attach to a buggy/car-seat. The holes can be fastened with small flat buttons (or omitted if preferred). Optional pompom(s) on hat & bunting.
I knitted this for my daughter, Saskia, (now 5) and the ball, bunting and blanket are still in use in her bedroom.
If you know someone who wants to knit for your newborn, this is the ideal pattern to give them, choose the colours to match your babies nursery, all styles also work in a solid colour (its also easier and faster to knit in one colour, bunting also looks great in a mix of solid colours if preferred).
Knitted in easy care wool/acrylic mix for ease of washing.
