This is a free pattern of a hat with horizontal stripes. Included are two different sizes listed as Mens (large) and Ladies (Medium). There is not a small or children’s size but it shouldn’t be too hard to adjust the size if you so desired.

Yarn :
Overall, I used approximately 50g of DK weight equating to approximately 125m of yarn for all the colours combined. However, I used a variety of ‘scrap’ yarn left over from knitting other hats to make this up and chose complimentary colours to create the stripes.

Notions :
3mm needles, circular for the main body of the hat then swapped to dpns for the crown, however, you could use dpns throughout or magic look, whatever method you prefer.
1 x Stitch marker
1 x needle for sewing in the ends

Gauge :
23 sts by 28 rows over 4inches (10cm) in stockinette.
