Here comes the sun! The Sunlight Shawl is an intriguing combination of garter and lace, made unique by carefully designed short rows which defy the boundaries set by traditional triangular shawls.

Almost any hand-dyed sock yarn with 460 yards/100 grams will work for this project. I recommend a blend of 75% Merino/25% Nylon (see Supplies below).

Written instructions are provided for the entirety of the shawl.

Supplies:

Any hand-dyed sock yarn with a yardage of approximately 460 yards/3.53oz (420 meters/100 grams). Suggested blend is 75% Merino/ 25% Nylon:

100 grams Color B

Size 5 (3.75mm) circular needles, minimum length 42”
