These socks are inspired by the colors of early spring sunrises (and sunsets) in Scandinavia (where I live). It’s the magic of this beauty that I want to share through this pattern.

Knit these on your favourite needles. Pour a cup of coffee, tea or hot chocolate and settle down for a creating session - your love is automatically weaved into these socks with every stitch.

Enjoy!

Size & fit: This pattern is for a pair of socks for a female with EU shoe sizes: 39/40 //US women’s shoe sizes: 8-9. The socks are worked from the cuff to the toe.

Needles: I used a set of four 3 mm (US 2.5) DPN’s. Alternatively, you can use a set of wired needles, if you prefer the Magic Loop technique.

Yarn: Sandnes Sunday - 1 skein of Dusty Rose (#4332) and 1 skein of Diamond Blue (#6012). Alternatively, you can use any super fine weight yarn - category 1.

Gauge: 28 sts x 42 rows = 10 x 10 cm (4 inches)

Other: Stitch markers ( (if you haven’t got any, you can use a couple of safety pins or some scrap yarn), darning needle + scissors.
