This lap blanket is so soft, chunky and cosy. Made with three contemporary colours, it adds a modern touch to your home. It is perfect for snuggling up with a good book or watching a movie. Also great to keep warm while working on a project of your own!

You will need two skeins of each of the three colours you will be using, so 6 skeins of Lion Brand Wool Ease Thick and Quick yarn.

I love the stitch pattern used here as it makes it airy and is right on trend.

I have used a super bulky acrylic/wool blend yarn, but any super bulky yarn will work.

This modern contemporary design is a simple pattern for beginners.
You can make The Sweet Mary Lap Top Blanket using the half double crochet, double crochet and treble crochet stitches.
