This is a cute and fun crochet top pattern. Perfect for someone that knows the basics stitches but wants to make something a little more interesting like creating a pattern and learn how to make buttons and give attention to trim details.

This pattern has written instructions and pictures to complement the harder bits like the buttons, the yarn colour transitions and the technique to creat the swirly patterns.

Materials needed are simply:
Hook needle
Yarn
Tapestry needle

The original top is made with size 4 yarn and a 2.5 hook needle. This top weights about 200grams and it is an equivalent to a size S.

It’s a very customisable piece, so the size can be made to measure or allowing around 5 cm per each size up. The back pattern is different from the front and I would totally recommend making it a bit longer so you can use it both ways (bra needed if wearing the back as a front).

I explained everything so you can understand why you are doing certain things in order to utilize the techniques as you wish.

Would love to see this top in different colours so please tag me if you post it on Instagram @freakyforyarn. I will definitely repost it and you will make my day eheh

Hope you enjoy!!
