My favourite moment in autumn is teatime curled up on the coach with my knitting! After a walk with my dogs in the rain it’s the nicest way to get warm again! And this cardi is the perfect company! It’s really soft and warm, thanks to the pattern which is ribs on the right side, seedstich on the wrong side. I wanted to make a really pretty cardi, not only for teatime at home. With this I feel great in any nice tea-house!
The shape is straight with raglanshaping for the shooulders. The real attribute is the nice “curly” collar which you can use either rolled back when the cardi is open or closed with pushbuttons, a brooch or a nice ribbon. It’s a true eye-catcher! You knit arms/back/fronts seperately and assemble them for the raglanshaping. When finished you pick up stiches for the collar. This leaves you with very little sewing.
The pattern is not difficult to follow,no difficult stiches and the measurements are in both cm and inches. The sizing goes from 31” - 39”/80 - 98 cm. Yardage size Small 1274/ Medium 1456/ Large 1638.
If you like to knit the beautiful blanket in some of the pictures I bring the pattern for free here at Ravelry.
