A fun variation of the popular temperature blankets that uniquely highlights a special date or anniversary from a given year. The blanket also has a top/bottom border and separates each month with that border color.

What’s great about this pattern is that you do not have to do the current year, but can select any year in the past that is special to you to create a time capsule blanket. You could also decide to highlight several important dates (birthdays?) within the blanket as a cool family heirloom.
