The Thatch Shawl
The Thatch Shawl is a simple, subtle knit suitable for both beginners and advanced knitters. Using only knit and purl stitches, the pattern creates a beautiful texture that highlights tonal and semi-solid yarns. While the simplicity of the design may be lost in heavily variegated yarns, lightly speckled yarns can still yield a lovely result. This pattern includes instructions for both DK and fingering weight yarns. As a substitution, our Sport Weight yarns will also work very well with this pattern.
The pattern gives instructions for fingering and sport/light DK yarns. The shawl can be made bigger by increasing the number of repeats of each section. For the size written, two skeins of the listed yarns are reommended.
