This pattern is from Make your Marks, a collection of designs inspired by the heritage of the Bridgewater Canal in Salford. One of the Duke of Bridgewater’s workers claimed he was late back from dinner because he hadn’t heard the strike of the clock at 1pm. The Duke’s response was to have the clock strike 13 - hence the name of this tea cosy. It is worked flat in two pieces that are seamed together.

This pattern features in Issue 88 of Knit Now, which is on sale from 17th May in supermarkets, newsagents and craft stores across the UK. Find your nearest UK stockist here. Copies can also be ordered from MoreMags or if you prefer, digital editions are available via PocketMags.
