The Topiary Cowl has been my best selling design year after year for the past decade and I’ve finally decided to release the pattern! The horizontal peaks and valleys remind me of a perfectly trimmed topiary.

This cowl has been so popular because of the stretch, ease of construction, and versatility of the design. You can keep it bunched up around the neck, offering the coziest warmth under a jacket, or you can pull it down over your shoulders, wearing it as a shawl.

I love to use Lion Brand’s Vanna’s Choice yarn with this project, but you are absolutely not limited to just that! You can also use any number of stitches to obtain the cowl width you prefer. I encourage you to play around with different colors, weights, and stitch numbers.
