As I was watching my climbing roses grow on their trellis, I became inspired to create this pattern. The stitches work a winding pattern along the trellis all the way to the top.
Any fingering weight yarn would work with this pattern. I would suggest not to use self-striping.
I was able to use one skein of yarn, but if you knit looser, you may need a little more.
