The Trustfall Square
The Trustfall Square is a 3 dimensional granny square that puffs out in the center. You begin making a circle and it eventually forms into a square. It was inspired by my travels in 2023.
I classify this pattern as ADVANCED.
Materials needed would be either an H or a G hook, scissors, a needle & 2 colors of any 4PLY Worsted Weight yarn of your choosing.
The total yardage listed is for a regular skein of 4 PLY Worsted Weight (recommend using standard Red Heart or Big Twist). You will need 2 colors, and you will not use the entire skein for either, just a portion of each skein. I did not measure the exact amount, my apologies. When I did my testing, an H hook gave me roughly 8.5” squares, and a G hook gave me roughly 8” squares.
The gauge does not matter because you theoretically can use any yarn & hook size you feel like. I encourage you to play around with this idea.
