Update 27 january: If you’re coming back to this page because you started and encountered a problem on the lace pattern, a new PDF version has been published that has better directions, I used the wrong terms in my first version.

This pattern is a top-down raglan tee featuring a decorative lace detail and stockinette stitch across the body. It is worked in the round allowing a seamless finish.
The sample shown in the pictures is worked in a long color-gradient yarn, creating a smooth transition but the design would also work well in a solid or different effect yarn.

The pattern is written for sizes S (M) L (XL) and includes instructions for adjusting body length. Size L is shown in the sample and was used to create this pattern. Please note the other sizes are graded, and have not been test knit.
Please feel free to provide feedback on the different sizes.

The bottom edge in the sample is knit with a repeat of the lace pattern, personally I did not like how the bottom was laying (bit wonky) after it so I changed it to a ribbed ending. * Update, I did update the pdf to also include the samples ending.

Gauge is measured after washing and light blocking. Exact row gauge is less critical, as body length can be adjusted to preference.

Materials

  • In the sample the yarn Twister by Hobbii was used. Approx. yardage:

S: ~400 m

M: ~450m

L: ~500 m

XL: ~550 m
(Sample size L used approx. 500 m, about half a cake of Hobbii Twister.)

  • You will need 3mm or US 2.5 needles suitable for working in the round

  • Stitch markers (4 minimum)

  • Tapestry needle

Have fun!
