This hat is similar to my fisherman’s cap design except I’ve incorporated the ripple pattern into the mix. Don’t worry, it’s not as complicated as it looks, it’s a two row repeat so after you get the first row down you’re golden. I’d call this pattern an intermediate pattern or advanced beginner. It uses all the stitches: slip stitches, single crochet, half-double crochet, double crochet and the ripple uses increases and decreases. The pattern comes in two styles, one is long enough to cuff, the other is 2.5 inches shorter. Size is made to measure though there is three standard sizes listed.
