This is a book blanket to fit a standard 4.5 inch by 7 inch paperback.

If you needed a bigger book blanket, you can adjust the pattern accordingly.

You will need 2 x aran or worsted weight yarns in your preferred colour combination, 5mm / 40cm circular needles, a tapestry needle, needle and thread and a scrap of cloth measuring approximately 14 inches by 10 inches (36 cm by 26 cm).

You can use any yarn but I enjoy knitting with Caron Simply Soft. The balls are so large you could make up to 3 book blankets with 2 balls.
