This is a top-down, circular-yoke pullover that celebrates the flowers that grow without anyone tending them: roadside, meadow, woodland edge and shoreline. Instead of repeating one motif around the yoke, six different flowers are scattered across it, so the sweater looks like a patch of wild ground.

Starting at the neckline, this sweater is worked seamlessly from the top down. Short rows are added to shape the neck and then the stranded colorwork is worked. The sleeves and body are separated and worked in the round.
