There are two versions of this pattern. One is a weight 6 super bulky beanie, which requires size 11 and size 15 needles. The super bulky version results in a true winter hat that is sure to keep you warm, and looks great with a giant pom on top.

The second version uses a weight 5 bulky yarn. It results in a more fitted beanie with tighter ribbing on the brim; appropriate for everyday wear. This version requires size 11 and size 13 needles.
