It is written for We Are Knitters The Petite Wool, a #5 Light Bulky weight yarn, but can be easily adapted to other weights. It includes two helpful charts for sizing your hats and determining a suitable cast-on for a variety of yarn selections, both luxury and less expensive brands. Pattern includes instructions for three sizes--child, small adult, and medium/large adult. It is knit in mainly knit and slip stitch with an optional knit and purl brim. Perfect for the beginner with a little experience, this pattern is easily adapted and styled to your own personal taste!
