This sweater is designed with 5.5-8.5”/14-21.5cm of positive ease at the bust and 3.5” (9cm) of positive ease in the upper arm. Choose a size 5.5-8.5”/14-21.5cm larger than your full bust measurement, unless your full bust is 2” / 5cm or more larger than your upper bust, in which case you should choose a size 5.5-8.5”/ 14-21.5cm larger than your upper bust measurement and work bust darts as directed in pattern.
You can also size down for a fitted sweater.

Suggested Needles:
If you do not use a boucle yarn, you will likely have to use a larger needle size than recommended below to achieve gauge.

Ribbing:
US 9 (5.5mm) 24-40” circular needles for and preferred small circumference needles if not using magic loop.

Main Body:
US 10.5 (6.5mm) 24-40” circular needles, and preferred small
circumference needles for sleeves if not using magic loop.

Gauge:
10sts & 20 rows in 4”x 4” square, in stockinette knit in the round on larger needles, blocked

Materials:
Bulky weight yarn, circular needles, stitch markers, scrap yarn, stitch holders, darning needle

Techniques:
knitting in the round, German short rows, increasing, decreasing, holding stitches, wet blocking

Construction:
Sweater is knit from the top down. Short rows are worked to shape the neck. Raglan increases are knit for the yoke. Sleeves are separated and held while sts are cast on for the body. Body is knit down. Sleeves are worked after body is complete.
