The Woolly Hood wraps your little lamb-like self in warmth. It is knitted flat from the neck up, it’s worked in one piece before the stitches are split to shape the crown. The double-knit ties and edging add structure and comfort. Soft, warm, and woolly wrapping you in your own fleece on a chilly day.

Measurement
The finished size XS-S hood has a length of approximately 12 inches/31cm and has a width of 25.5 inches/63.5 cm, including the ties. And the finished size M-L hood has a length of approximately 14 inches/35 cm and has a width of 29 inches/79 cm, including the ties.

Needles
4 mm (US 6) and 4.5 mm (US 7) circular needles, each with a cable length of at least 80 cm (32 in).

Yarn
The sample shown is size XS–S and uses 4 skeins of 100% wool, light worsted/DK weight yarn—approx. 400 m/437 yds and 200 g.

For size M–L, you’ll need about 5 skeins, or roughly 500 m/547 yds and 300 g. Yardage includes allowance for a swatch. Keep in mind, you may need more or less yarn if you choose to modify the length of the hood or ties.
