The XOXO Shawlette is a fun and easy to make project. It is worked sideways where the edging is worked as a part of the main pattern. Incorporating the edging with the main pattern is a new technique I just learned and I am so thrilled to share it with you!

It is a free pattern on my blog.

NOTES

  1. Read the pattern carefully before starting.
  2. This pattern is worked flat, sideways.
  3. The beginning ch 3 counts as 1 DC.
  4. Numbers in ( ) at end of a row indicate the number of stitches in that row.
  5. I recommend using a stitch marker to mark the end stitch of the next row. Remember to move stitch markers as you progress.
  6. You can customize this pattern to the size you prefer. To make it shorter/longer, you can deduct/add some rows, and follow the increasing/decreasing pattern.

I hope that you like my new shawl design and that you’ll make one for yourself or for a friend.
