PATTERN INFORMATION
The Thekla Hat is knitted in the round from the bottom up in stripes. First, you will work 2x2 rib with stripes of 3 rounds in each color, then switch to 6x6 rib with stripes of 2 rounds in each color. At the transition between the 2x2 and 6x6 rib, you will turn your work and continue knitting in the round on what was previously the “wrong side.” Be sure to change colors on the side of the work facing away from you throughout. Finally, you will work decreases at the top of the hat. Then block the piece to the specified measurements to smooth the edges and even out the rib pattern.
