This is the matching beret to the There Be Dragonflies Shawl. The same instructions are used for both sizes. Size is determined by the weight of yarn you decide to use.

Small/Medium is knit in Laceweight (can also be used as a fitted cap for a larger size as shown in the picture). Large/Extra Large is knit in Fingering weight (fits as a very loose beret; great for curly hair).

Yarn: Laceweight: Dragonfly Fibers Squishy Lace, approx. half a skein in main color (MC) (or 300 yds) and approx. 50 yds. for contrasting color (CC). Fingering weight: Dragonfly Fibers Djinni Sock - fingering weight, 1 skein in MC (or 250 yds) and approx. 30 yds in CC.

Needles: Laceweight: US 5 (3.75mm) dpns and 16” circular; Fingering weight: US7 (4.5mm) dpns and 16” circular.

Gauge: Laceweight: 6 sts/9 rnds per inch in stockinette;
Fingering weight: 7 sts/8 rnds per inch in stockinette

Sizes: Small/Medium (Laceweight): circumference = 20.5”
