This “tilting block” pattern is worked back and forth
over 16 rows and creates a series of gently tipping
overlocking blocks. The pattern is fairly simple to
memorize once you get the hang of it. Garter stitch
side borders are picked up and knit after you
complete the body of the blanket shawl.
