9(10, 11)12 inches around un-stretched
Select a size that’s 3 to 4 inches smaller than the recipients widest calf measurement. Go one size larger if recipient will be wearing over jeans.

You can make progressively larger or smaller sizes by adding or subtracting 6 stitches
