These fun stranded socks are knit with an afterthought heel. This means you can concentrate on the colorwork patern without having to worry about shaping the heel.

Yarn Requirements are for a fingering weight yarn for a large sock to fit women’s size 10:

• Grey - used for cuff, heels and toes: 110 yards
• White - used for the main color: 140 yards
• Yellow - used for Bananas: 60 yards
• Brown - used for banana tops/bottoms: 18 yards

Note: For these socks it’s very important to knit the colorwork section loosely and not pull your floats too tight. It is normal for the sock to fit snugly over the heel due to the limited elasticity of the stranded banana pattern.
