A Toe-up sock adorned with cables and lace for any princess who wishes to dance the night away. The central panel is an Estonian Double Waterlily Motif . Thank you, Olga Jamovidova, for sharing this motif on Ravelry and in New Lace – Old Traditions!

Sizes: Women’s Small (Medium, Large) to fit a foot circumference of 7-71⁄2 (8-8 1⁄2, 9-10) inches [17.75-19 (20-21.5, 22.75-25.5) cm]. It’s quite stretchy, so if you are in between sizes you may wish to use the smaller size. Length of foot and leg is adjustable.

Needles: Two 24” (60cm) US #11⁄2 (2.5mm) circular needles or size needed to obtain gauge. You can substitute another method of circular knitting (Magic Loop or double-pointed needles) if you prefer. Optional: Needles one size larger for the last motif and the ribbing to accommodate the curve of the leg.

Gauge: 8 sts and 11 rnds to the inch (2.5cm) on US #1.5 (2.5mm) needles over stockinette. The round gauge is important for heel placement.

Note: there were a few errors in the original version, which have been corrected in a new pdf. The pdf currently available is the corrected version, both as a single download and in the ebook download.
