I call this pattern the “Thick and Quick” because it works up in about 1/3 of the time as my other pattern!

Skill level: Beginner-Intermediate

Hook size: I/10.5 6.5mm
Worsted weight yarn, size 4
Stitches and abbreviations used:
ch-chain
st-stitch
sc-single crochet
hdc-half double crochet
dc-double crochet
sl st-slip stitch

Other materials:
Two 1” wooden buttons

Important Notes:
This pattern was made for a Graco Snugride 30, but fits most if not all seats.
Pattern can be made bigger or smaller depending on the size of your car seat. Add extra chain stitches to your foundation chain to make it wider and more rows to make it longer.
Note that if you adjust the overall size of your canopy, you will need to adjust the placement of your button flaps.
Include instructions for a basic version AND a Chainless Foundation Double Crochet and Standing Double Crochet version. It makes the edges of the main body look a little neater, but it is not required! If you’re not sure how to do either of these specialty stitches and would like to try, there are many tutorials on YouTube.
