These could be the perfect stash buster!!! I was looking for something small and easy to use up oddments of fluffy and furry and hairy yarns and this is what I have come up with. They can been made with any type of yarn (they will turn out different sizes depending on the yarn. You can also add any other craft items you may have lying around such as pipe cleaners, pom poms, buttons and beads. There are no rules, just have some fun.

The pattern includes instructions to make the rounded body with base, alien ears (honkers?) and as a BONUS I have included some of my Petr’s Pals ears as well as the tiny mice ears so you can make the animals as well.

They are knitted on 2 needles. Use 8 ply (worsted) yarn or any type of leftover textured yarn you may have. A great project for a beginner. A thingamajig with worsted yarn measures about 6cm (2 1/2”) tall.
