Materials:
Any yarn. (I used worsted weight cotton)
Circular or double point needles. (I used US size 7,16 inch circular needles) Just use the size of needles your yarn calls for.
Yarn needle, for string tucking.
Scissors
Cable needle or extra double point.
Size of heart will vary depending on the yarn and needle size you choose.
My hearts are about 3.5 x 2.5 inches (9 x 7 cm) using worsted weight yarn.
