This cowl, inspired by the tumbling colors of a leaf pile, is worked in simple stripes but gives the impression of complex colorwork. The cowl is worked in the round, with a picot edging finishing both the top and bottom edges of the piece.

Yarn: Zitron Kimono (Skacel) (54% merino, 46% silk; 328 yd 300 m/3½ oz 100 g; CYCA # 2): #4020 dark chocolate brown (A), #4004 wild berries purple (B), #4015 navy blue (C), #4016 straw gold (D); 1 skein each.

Hook Size: G/6 (4 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
