Whiteowlcrochetco. Thomas Tank

Thomas is the ultimate layering piece. Wear this tank on top of a bathing suit, another tank top, a bralette, underneath your favourite coat, or, if you’re feeling a little wild, don’t layer it with anything at all. You do you!

Knit with a fingering weight yarn, Thomas works into a thin, breathable fabric. This knit tank is worked both in rows and in rounds, from the top down.

The triangular straps begin provisionally with i-cord and are then worked flat in rows. Once the straps are formed, you’ll join in the round to work the A-line body. The hem of the tank is worked in twisted rib with a smaller needle, offering a nice, clean finish to your garment. Once you’ve settled on your ideal tank length, you can then graft your straps together to finish.
