Son of Thrain, Son of Thror
King Under the Mountain
Ready to go on a knitted adventure to win back Erebor and the treasure within!

Based off Richard Armitage’s costume from the Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. But the sky blue undershirt is a nod to Thorin’s hood from the book.

At about 2 feet tall, this is a great project to help kick start using up your yarn stash or for an excuse to hit the yarn store. The yardage is only a guess. You shouldn’t need more then 150-200 yards for the dark grey and less for the other colors.

Skills needed are color work, short row heel turn, seaming, and knitting in the round.

The pattern is still a bit of a work in process and any notes on making it easier to understand are most welcome.
