> Three Hook Brimmed Hat

Three Hook Brimmed Hat
Three hooks, about 26 rows single and half-double-crocheting two strands of cheap acrylic, and you have a brimmed hat! I created this top-down pattern using descending sizes of hooks so that there are no seams, decreases, bumps or lumps. Crochet in a spiral and adjust the size as you go. As long as you’re using two strands of acrylic, gauge won’t be important. Just measure as you go. Make the brim as wide as you like!
Designed for big heads and/or big hair. Fits best on heads no smaller than 22.5” or larger than 24”. Stitch is stretchy. You can adjust sizes by increasing or decreasing the sizes of the crochet hooks.
Only two stitches: single crochet and half-double crochet. Easy!
