This is another carseat blanket, knitted in two parts - main lace body and separate border which is then sewn on. For my prototypes I have both one colour blanket and two colours, if you wish to have contrasting border.
Pattern is presented as a 9 page downloadable pdf and includes charts, written instructions and photographs of various stages of this blanket. I’d say it is for intermediate level knitters. I offer support on all my patterns and invite you to get in touch via email provided.
Pattern calls for DK weight yarn, which obviously can be different from the ones i mentioned in my notes - as long as you have the same yardage, as it can vary from one manufacturer to another. James C. Brett Innocence DK is very soft and gives a lovely drape (Cream with Yellow border is knitted with this yarn).
Needle size - 3-4mm, depending on what you’re used to for working DK. My gauge and finished sizes were measured after washing and blocking the blanket.
As always with all my patterns it is for your personal use only, meaning you cannot resell the pattern not the blankets made using it. The rounded bottom blanket shape is now a design, I protected with IPO.
Big thanks to my testers - Jackie, Rhonda ronky Olive olivetree and Linda.
