THE DESIGN
“Take the next step in colorwork!”
A sweet, easy sequel to our Simple Colorwork Cowl, this free pattern helps you take the next step in stranded colorwork! The two-color motif alternates three stitches of one shade with one stitch of another for a delightful, diagonal, criss-crossing pattern. With a squishy structure and comfortable, more-close-fitting size, this cowl is super cozy and quick to knit!

We chose Wool and the Gang’s Alpachino Merino for the Three/One Colorwork Cowl. A chunky-weight blend of sustainably sourced alpaca and merino, this yarn has a gentle, poofy twist and creates a plush and cozy fabric. And with a color palette that features both playful brights and calm neutrals, there are so many fun combo options.
