The dark evening sky on a deep winter’s night, still and quiet, brings a calm solace. Classic garter stitch is brought to life with dimensional lace in this heart-shaped triangle shawl. Although not completely reversible, the back side looks just as attractive as the front, so no matter which side is showing it will look great!

Finished Measurements: Wingspan x depth at centre after wet blocking: 60” x 18” / 152.5 cm x 46 cm Yarn : 450 yds / 412 m DK weight / 8-ply yarn that achieves gauge. Sample knit in Madelinetosh Twist DK, Dirty Panther. Needle

Size : US size 8 / 5 mm long circular needle for holding a large number of sts. Notions : Tapestry needle, 1 stitch marker, safety pin or removable marker

Gauge : 16 sts = 4” / 10cm in Garter Stitch after wet blocking (gauge is not overly important; however, it will alter yardage and finished measurements).

Skill Level : Adventurous Beginner
