Through the Galaxy Wrap is a rectangular wrap that starts at the center with a provisional cast on, then is knit flat for four repeats if a galaxy motif, followed by a lace edging and stretchy bind off. The stitches are picked up from the provisional cast on and knit in the other direction with four more repeats followed by the lace edging. Each repeat of the galaxy motif has a different constellation represented by beads in the center. The instructions are both written and charted.

This wrap was designed to be knit with 12 colors that gradate from light in the center to dark on the edges. The colors are mirrored on each side. If desired, fewer colors may be used, but it will look best if the colors fade into one another. This pattern will also work well with 8, 6, or 4 colors. Since the colors are repeated in both halves of the wrap, it is useful to weigh each color at the start and be careful to only use half for the first side to ensure there is enough for the second side.

This pattern has been professionally tech edited and test knit.
