So, mo nighean donn, you wish to knit a Scottish highlands cowl?… I think we can oblige :-)

“Through the Stones” is inspired by the breathtaking highlands’ landscape and the magnificent standing stones found in many of the world’s sacred places.

Yarn used: ~325 yards each of fingering weight yarn in two highly contrasting colors.
I used Black Cat on Centaur Sock from CopperCentaurStudios (Etsy) and an amazing custom dyed Sunset Gradient sock blank by WhiteWhiskerStudios (Etsy).

Gauge does not have to be exact with this project as the finished cowl is fairly large so it can accommodate a slightly different gauge.

Note: This pattern assumes a basic understanding of double knitting.

$1 from each pattern sold will be donated to an organization that helps to fight the climate crisis, to build a more sustainable world for our future.
