Through the Years is a large rectangular shawl/wrap worked in six different colors. There are five color-block sections and the sixth color is used for dividing borders and an icord edge.

Each of the project’s five sections represents a 20th century decade. The yarns, part of the ever popular Assway collection from A Whimsical Wood Yarn Co, are in colors popular during that decade. I then researched motifs popular during that same time period, and Through the Years was born.

Color A: That 50’s Ass
Color B: That 60’s Ass
Color C: That 70’s Ass
Color D: That 80’s Ass
Color E: That 90’s Ass
Border: I Hope a Bird Shits on Your Face Today

Note: The sample used approximately half of each skein. Mileage may vary based on knitting conditions.

The sample was not aggressively blocked.
