There is nothing warmer than a pair of thrummed mittens! Knit in the round from the bottom up on double-pointed-needles, these worsted weight mitts with an afterthought thumb are designed to keep the warmth in and the chill out. With small bits of solid-colored roving (unspun yarn) folded and knit in with the gradient yarn at charted intervals, the roving creates an incredibly lush, soft inner layer. The finished overall appearance is an oversized mitten with bits of fluffy texture. Once you knit and wear a pair of thrummed mittens, you’ll never want to wear anything else!
