The dreamy Thrushcross Shawl is a hybrid of a top-down triangle and a semicircular “pi” shawl. It is worked back and forth from the neck down and outward, beginning with a garter-tab cast-on. The sparkly Lurex in this yarn truly makes this shawl a star.

NOTES

  • This shawl is worked back and forth from the center neck down and outward, beginning with a garter-tab cast-on. Increases are worked along a center spine throughout, and also at “pi shaping” intervals, with lace patterns worked in between.

  • A circular needle is used to accommodate the large number of stitches.
