This is the kickoff to the Thunderstorm MKAL for this summer with Annie Yarn! Each phase of the shawl represents part of a thunderstorm’s cycle- taking you through the storm…
Once a week, you’ll get a new portion of the storm to work through as you knit along with friends, prizes, and games in the Plum Dandi group.

There is something so special about the rain. Whether in hushed whispers or torrential downpours, the rain calms the soul. It brings feelings of safety and excitement at the same time. Cozy, yet clean. As the clean smell of rich moss & soil rises out of the humidity, all things are rejuvenated. New life springs forth as a verdant shelter, rising out of the earth in triumph. This shawl is inspired by the feeling I get in my heart every time it rains—so quietly soothed, yet so abundantly full of hope.
