“I know a bank where the wild thyme blows, Where oxlips and the nodding violet grows, Quite over-canopied with luscious woodbine, With sweet musk-roses and with eglantine.” ― William Shakespeare, A Midsummer Night’s Dream

Thyme is an elegantly chic tank top that is interesting and relatively simple to knit. It is worked from the bottom up, in the round, then the front and back separately. Thyme features a stockinette front with an airy cowl neckline and a large 6.5” (16.5cm) lace border at the bottom edges, while the back is all lace, in a lovely thyme leaf pattern.
Thyme is fitted with 1-2” (2.5-5cm) of negative ease at the chest, making it a great top to wear casually with capri pants or formally over a skirt to a Summer wedding!
