This pattern uses American terminology.
Difficulty: Beginner/intermediate
Pattern Description: Great fun for the whole family, no more waste paper, when finished having fun everything packs away neatly inside game board, adult super vision required when played by young children due to small parts.
Game board size: 7 X 7 inches.
Gauge: 22sc=4 inches.
Abbreviations:
ch= chain
Rnd= round
blo=back loop only
hdc= half double crochet
Inc=increase (crochet twice in same stitch)
sc= single crochet
sk=skip
sl st= slip stitch
st= stitch(es)
Required Material: I used: Special by stylecraft-double knit yarn, 100% premium acrylic. (322 yards, 295 metres.).
50g skein Red
25g skein Black
25g skein White
G hook/4mm
Stitch marker, Yarn needle, Scissors, Pins.
3 Small buttons colour of your choice (1.5cm)
Pattern notes:
• When crocheting the game board and scoring board crochet each row in sc, at the end of each row ch1, and turn.
• In row1 (blo) means sc in the little humps at the back of the chain.
• Noughts are made in a continuous spiral, NO JOINING, you will place a stitch marker in the last st of each round.
• When you have finished making your tic-tac-toe game board you will need to block your work, the instructions for this are at the end of the pattern
