Tidelace Pullover
The Tidelace Pullover is a gentle sweater inspired by soft traces left in the sand. Its front features a panel of flowing lace cables, echoing ripples shaped by the tide. The fit is relaxed, with dropped shoulders and a cozy silhouette.
Ribbing details at the cuffs, hem and neckline recall the clean, vertical lines of a coastal fencing.
The pullover is worked seamlessly top-down starting with the back yoke. Afterwards, stitches for the front shoulders are picked up and joined after the front neck shaping. The Back and Front are joined at the bottom of the armhole and the lower body is worked in the round. For the Sleeves, stitches are picked up at the armhole. German short rows are used to form the sleeve cap until the underarm before the sleeves are finished in the round.
As a design element, elongated cables are implemented in parts of the front.
To give the ribbing a prominent look, purled stitches are worked two rows below (p2b) in the first row of the 1x1 rib for the Hem, Cuff and Neck Edge.
The sweater has an oversized fit with approx. 20 cm of ease and is available in 9 sizes (Bust Circumference: 95 – 175 cm (37.5 – 69 in)
