This wrap has been made for a really lovely and helpful worker at my daughter Shruti’s college.
Shruti, as you may know, is an animal lover, and she and her friends started a ‘Bucket of bones’ program at their college to collect some of the left overs for feeding of strays in and around their college campus.
This lovely lady in the canteen, unasked, would separate those bits of food that were not good for dogs - and Shruti, obviously touched by this, requested something special for her.
Shruti’s college is in Pune, that enjoys (?) pretty cold winters - and the staff have pretty long work hours - so thought this would be a warm welcome :)

This pattern has been tested using
a) 3-ply light fingering yarn , 60 gms / 200 yds ; 4 mm crochet hook (for scarf)

b) 2-ply acrylic, fingering yarn , 104 gms ; 4 mm (G) crochet hook ;
Comments : Instructions were clear. I thought having the chart for each of the step was a good addition, particularly for beginners or those who are trying to learn to read charts ;
For beginners too, this is a fairly easy pattern. With the diagram showing how to do the sc around the chains, I think a beginner shouldn’t have a problem with the design ;
I really enjoyed making this scarf. I’ll be making the wrap in the future. I like how it looks as well. I just didn’t feel I could do the larger project the amount of time available for the test.
Took about 15 hours ;

c) 4-ply fingering yarn , 280 gms / 1186 yds ; 4.5 mm crochet hook (for wrap)
