‘Tie Hood’ is a scarf with an attached hood. First, the scarf is knitted in stockinette stitch with decreases at both ends.
The hood is worked bottom up in double knitting from the center of the scarf. Finally, stitches are picked up along the hood opening, which is finished with an i-cord bind-off. If you wish to close the hood under the chin, a button is sewn onto the scarf section, which can be fastened with a crocheted loop.
